The arms trade is bringing drama from all sides into Syria and other countries near by, making it difficult to try and resolve any issues. The buying and selling of arms to other states has increased quickly. The Trudeau government went along with the sale of $15 million Canadian dollars of military equipment to Saudi Arabia in 2015. The Canadian company general dynamics land systems Canada was allowed export licenses. Saudi Arabia has been thought of a state endorser of panic because of the repression of politics at home and killing insurgents and towns people alike in the war next to Yemen. However, Canada has also funded the Kurdish Peshmerga with arms so that they can against ISIS in Iraq. Israel exports natural gas to Egypt in a $15 Billion deal

Israels Ground Breaking Deal Until recently Israel and Egypt tended to have a security-focused relationship. Earlier this week the nations made a $15 billion deal to have Israel export natural gas to Egypt. The deal is for 64 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is great for both of the countries economies, especially Israel. Israels' state treasury will benefit immensely using the money to build Israels social welfare, education, and health. However, there are still some obstacles for the deal to work smoothly.  There was an issue where Israeli electricity providers wanted to be compensated by Egyptian companies but nothing has been said about the issue and whether or not this deal resolves the arbitration. The biggest problem is how the natural gas is actually going to be transported. The EMG pipeline is experiencing damages at the time and may not be a possible way to transport the gas. The pipeline was used to export oil from Egypt to Israel in the past. Del

Although a hand full of the countries in the Middle East have plentiful natural resources the mass populations are facing severe poverty. Through this blog we seek to investigate, understand, and educate about how business is conducted in the Middle East as well as the impact that business has throughout the rest of the world. There will be a few countries that are focused on more than others for example, Syria, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Egypt.
